Actor Ram Kapoor found himself at the center of fresh controversy during the latest episode of Lock Upp: Sach Ya Sazaa after a heated exchange with host Farah Khan. The confrontation unfolded during the eviction feedback session, where Farah pointed out that despite being one of the biggest names on the reality show, Ram had become a “background actor” because of his lack of involvement in the game.

While fellow contestants Madhuri Grover, Shivangi Joshi, Dheeraj Dhoopar, and Riyaz Aly accepted the criticism with good humour, Ram reacted differently. Responding to Farah’s observation, he stated that he had no intention of changing his approach and bluntly remarked, “I am the way I am. It’s funny for me. Problem hai toh nikal do (If there’s a problem, evict me). I am not going to change.”

The exchange escalated as Farah attempted to explain that her comments came from a place of concern. She warned Ram that people who refuse to evolve eventually become “dinosaurs,” but the actor remained unmoved, replying, “Then I will become a dinosaur.” Even after Farah clarified that she was speaking as both a host and a friend, Ram cut her short, insisting, “I am me. I am this. That’s it.”

Visibly frustrated, Farah remarked that Ram’s charge on the show should have been “stubborn” instead, prompting the actor to loudly agree. The tense interaction quickly sparked discussions among viewers, with many debating Ram’s attitude and unwillingness to accept constructive criticism during the competition.

The latest incident comes just days after Ram Kapoor faced backlash for his comments on infidelity during the reality show, which divided public opinion. He has also been criticised for his behaviour during the show’s opening task, making his journey on Lock Upp one of the most talked-about this season.

Hosted by Farah Khan and Riteish Deshmukh, Lock Upp: Sach Ya Sazaa features contestants from television, social media, and the entertainment industry competing through various challenges. New episodes stream on Netflix from Saturday to Wednesday at 8 PM.

Ram Kapoor has also remained in the news over the controversy surrounding the promotions of his project Mistry. According to reports, he was removed from the promotional campaign after allegedly making inappropriate jokes during media interactions, following which co-star Mona Singh handled the remaining promotional interviews alone.
