Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has broken his silence on the ongoing protests over the alleged NEET-UG paper leak, calling the issue “very serious” and expressing strong support for students demanding a fair and transparent education system. Sharing a childhood photograph of himself in his school uniform, the actor penned an emotional note, praising the courage shown by students while hoping for a positive resolution to the crisis.

Reflecting on the protests, Salman said it was heartbreaking to see a movement that began peacefully turn violent. “It was such a peaceful movement, feel so sad that it had to take a violent turn. My heart goes out to the students and their families who were hurt,” he wrote, extending his sympathy to those affected during the demonstrations.

Calling the alleged paper leak a matter of grave concern, Salman applauded students and their parents for standing together in pursuit of a stronger education system. He praised the younger generation for their determination and commitment, saying their dedication to studies and the nation’s future makes him optimistic about India’s progress. Describing them as “courageous and brave,” the actor said he believes today’s youth will make the country proud.

At the same time, Salman urged that the movement should remain focused on education rather than politics. Stressing that the protests belong to the students, he wrote that the issue should not be “hijacked politically” and that the credit for raising awareness should go solely to the students. He also expressed confidence that the government would support their demands and strengthen the country’s education system, adding that he was “hoping and praying for a positive decision.”
