The Cockroach Janta Party (CJP), a youth-led movement that emerged from a satirical social media platform, has intensified its campaign against Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. Addressing the media in New Delhi, the group said it would launch an indefinite peaceful sit-in at Jantar Mantar from June 20 if the minister does not resign over alleged irregularities in the conduct of examinations.
A day after leading a protest at Delhi's Jantar Mantar over alleged irregularities in the education system, Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) founder Abhijeet Dipke issued a seven-day ultimatum to the Central government. Dipke said the movement would intensify if Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan is not removed from office or does not step down within a week.
