Sunita Ahuja’s journey on Lock Upp 2 has come to an end after she was eliminated during the 12th episode of the reality show. The eviction came amid her ongoing health issues, with husband Govinda making a special appearance on Judgement Day to accompany her home. Apart from Sunita, influencer Riyaz Ali was also eliminated from the competition.
Speaking about her exit, Sunita revealed that her health had deteriorated during her stay inside the Lock Upp house. She shared that her diabetes was not under control and that she was also dealing with menopause-related complications, including pain, stress, and breathing difficulties. Sunita said these health concerns were the primary reason she had repeatedly expressed her desire to leave the show.
During the farewell segment, hosts Farah Khan and Riteish Deshmukh asked Sunita about her biggest takeaway from the reality show. Reflecting on her experience, she said the two weeks inside the house had given her greater clarity. “Whatever happens in the family, keep it within the family. Ghar ki baat ghar pe hi rakho,” she remarked, adding that personal matters are best handled privately rather than being discussed publicly.
Govinda, who joined the episode to support his wife, brought his trademark humour despite the emotional moment. The veteran actor joked that his friends had been sending him clips of Sunita using abusive language inside the house. Laughing it off, he said he was unfazed because he had already experienced that side of her in real life, drawing laughter from the hosts and audience.
The actor also turned emotional while talking about his family and their four-decade-long relationship. He expressed gratitude that they had overcome difficult phases in life and prayed they would never have to face such hardships again. Govinda added that he would always stand by the people who have stood by him and said he loves everyone connected to his life.
Sunita became emotional during the conversation, though she initially denied crying when Govinda noticed her tears. Farah Khan pointed out that Sunita had cried several times during her stay on the show because of her deep love and concern for her husband. Responding in his signature comic style, Govinda quipped, “Toh kya mazaak mazaak mein 40 years nikaal liye kya?” Riteish Deshmukh then joked that Sunita simply wanted “100 percent” of Govinda’s attention, bringing a light-hearted end to the emotional farewell.
