Bollywood star Alia Bhatt turned heads at the 2026 Cannes Film Festival not only with her red carpet fashion but also with her extravagant stay at the iconic Hotel Martinez on the French Riviera.
Situated on the famous Boulevard de la Croisette, the legendary hotel has long been a preferred destination for international celebrities during Cannes season. Established in 1929 and now part of Hyatt’s luxury Unbound Collection, the property is known for blending timeless Art Deco elegance with Riviera luxury.
Alia’s lavish sea-facing suite became a talking point after her stylist Rhea Kapoor shared glimpses of the stunning accommodation on social media. The suite featured a private balcony with ornate wrought-iron railings overlooking the Bay of Cannes, offering panoramic views of the Mediterranean Sea and luxury yachts anchored along the coastline.
The interiors reflected classic French sophistication with ivory-and-gold décor, elegant marble bathrooms, spacious lounges, and large French windows opening to scenic sea views — an ideal setting for Cannes glamour.
What Does The Stay Cost?
During the Cannes Film Festival, the hotel’s Prestige King Suite with sea view reportedly costs around ₹9.18 lakh (approximately $10,800) per night, excluding taxes and additional charges. Even the standard rooms begin at nearly ₹2.8 lakh per night.
For ultra-luxury seekers, the hotel also features sprawling sea-view penthouses on the seventh floor, considered among the largest luxury suites in Europe.
