Cockroach Janta Party founder Abhijeet Dipke said his movement is focused on education reforms

June 16, 2026: Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) founder Abhijeet Dipke on Tuesday clarified that his organisation is not interested in contesting elections and remains focused on raising issues affecting students. Speaking at a press conference in Nagpur ahead of a protest demanding the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, Dipke questioned why citizens should be forced to enter politics simply to seek their rights. He said the movement’s primary goal is to address concerns related to education and examination systems.

Dipke also criticised Prime Minister Narendra Modi over the handling of the NEET-UG controversy. Referring to reports of students allegedly taking extreme steps following the cancellation of the examination, he said the Prime Minister should acknowledge the concerns of affected families. According to Dipke, students across the country are facing uncertainty and emotional stress due to recurring issues linked to competitive examinations.

The CJP leader further urged the Prime Minister to engage directly with students and understand their challenges. He argued that listening to students would help policymakers find practical solutions to problems in the education system. Reiterating his demand, Dipke said the nationwide protest campaign would continue until Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan resigns and meaningful reforms are introduced to restore trust in the examination process.
