Police have been deployed outside Abhijeet Dipke’s residence in Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar as his planned protest march in Delhi draws attention

June 4, 2026: Abhijeet Dipke, founder of the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP), is set to arrive in India ahead of a protest march scheduled in New Delhi on June 6. As preparations for the demonstration gain momentum, police personnel have been stationed outside his family home in Maharashtra’s Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar, prompting heightened public attention. His family has temporarily moved out of the residence, with relatives stating that the decision was taken as a precaution due to increasing visibility around the activist’s campaign.

Dipke, a Boston-based entrepreneur and social media personality known for his satirical political commentary, has announced plans for a protest beginning from Delhi airport. The campaign, which has gained traction online, is reportedly focused on education reforms and public accountability. His father, Bhagwanrao Dipke, said he initially tried to dissuade him from proceeding but later accepted his decision.

Human rights lawyer Asim Sarode confirmed he has been approached to provide legal assistance, adding that the protest will remain within legal boundaries and is not intended to evolve into a political party. Dipke has also reportedly invited several public figures, including Sonam Wangchuk, Prakash Raj, Vishambhar Chaudhary, and Nikhil Wagle, to join the demonstration. As attention builds ahead of June 6, both supporters and authorities are closely monitoring the situation.
