April 26, 2026: Ajit Doval met Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan in Abu Dhabi during his official visit, focusing on strengthening the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership between India and the UAE. The discussions covered key areas such as energy security, regional developments, and broader bilateral cooperation. Doval also conveyed greetings from Prime Minister Narendra Modi, underscoring the importance of continued engagement between the two nations.
According to the Indian Embassy in the UAE, both sides explored ways to deepen ties and addressed issues of mutual interest, including the evolving security situation in the Middle East. The UAE leadership reciprocated greetings and reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening relations with India. The meeting was attended by senior UAE officials, including Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Ali bin Hammad Al Shamsi.
The talks also highlighted growing cooperation on global energy security and the impact of regional developments on international stability. This marks the second high-level engagement between the two countries within a month, following External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar’s recent visit to the UAE, reflecting the strong and ongoing diplomatic dialogue between the two nations.
