The Congress leader accused the Prime Minister of failing to answer questions over the student issue
July 21, 2026: Congress leader and Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi on Tuesday intensified his attack on the Narendra Modi government over the handling of student-related issues. In a post on X, Gandhi alleged that the government had failed to respond to concerns raised by students and accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi of avoiding accountability.
Calling the issue a matter affecting every household, Gandhi said, “An attack on students is an attack on every Indian family.” He further claimed that the Prime Minister could not avoid answering questions or escape responsibility for the situation. According to Gandhi, the government would eventually have to respond to the concerns raised by students and their families.
Rahul Gandhi also appealed to citizens to participate in a protest outside the Prime Minister’s residence, urging those who believe students deserve justice to join the dharna. The appeal comes amid continuing political protests and demands for accountability over issues affecting students.
