Robert Vadra summoned by Rouse Avenue Court in ED-linked land deal case in Gurugram
April 15, 2026: A Delhi court has summoned Robert Vadra, husband of Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, along with eight others in a money laundering case linked to a land deal in Haryana. The order was passed by the Rouse Avenue Court after taking cognisance of the Enforcement Directorate’s charge sheet. All accused have been directed to appear before the court on May 16.
The case pertains to a 3.53-acre land parcel in Shikohpur, Gurugram, which the ED alleges was fraudulently acquired in 2008 by Vadra’s firm, Sky Light Hospitality. According to the agency, the land was purchased from Onkareshwar Properties through questionable means, with Vadra named as one of the key accused.
The ED has claimed that false declarations were made during the transaction and that a commercial licence was secured through personal influence. It further alleged that the payment shown for the land was never actually encashed and that the property was later sold to DLF at a significantly higher value. In connection with the case, assets worth ₹37.64 crore have already been provisionally attached under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act.
