Chief Minister directs officials to speed up rescue operations and ensure proper treatment for those injured in the Sector 66 fire.
July 15, 2026: Two people lost their lives in a fire that broke out at a building in Sector 66, Noida, on Wednesday. The cause of the fire has not yet been officially confirmed, while rescue and relief operations were launched immediately after the incident.
Taking cognizance of the tragedy, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath directed senior officials to reach the spot without delay. He instructed the administration to accelerate rescue and relief efforts and ensure that those injured receive proper medical treatment.
The Chief Minister also ordered officials to maintain strict vigilance throughout the operation and continuously monitor the rescue and relief work. Authorities are continuing their response at the site as further details about the incident are awaited.
