The wait for nearly four lakh students is officially set to end. The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) is scheduled to announce the results for the ICSE Class 10 and ISC Class 12 examinations today, Thursday, April 30, 2026. Following the trend set in the previous academic year, the board is releasing the scores in the final week of April to facilitate early college admissions. Students who appeared for the exams held in February and March can access their digital marksheets starting this afternoon across multiple official platforms.

Where to Check: Official Websites and Mobile Apps

To manage the heavy digital traffic, CISCE has enabled several parallel links for result hosting. Students should keep their Unique ID (UID) and Index Number ready to log in.

  • Official Portals: The primary links for the scorecard are results.cisce.org and cisce.org.
  • DigiLocker: Verified digital certificates will be available on digilocker.gov.in. Students can log in using their Aadhaar-linked mobile number to download their passing certificates.
  • UMANG App: The results will also be integrated into the UMANG app, allowing students to check their grades on their smartphones.

How to Download Your ICSE/ISC Scorecard 2026

Checking your results is a straightforward process. Follow these steps for a hassle-free experience:

  1. Visit the official website: results.cisce.org.
  2. Select either the ‘ICSE Result 2026’ or ‘ISC Result 2026’ tab from the homepage.
  3. Enter your 7-digit Unique ID, Index Number, and the Captcha code as shown on the screen.
  4. Click the ‘Show Result’ button to view your marks.
  5. Download the PDF and take a printout for immediate use during the admission process.

Rechecking and Improvement Exam Rules

For students who feel their marks do not reflect their performance, CISCE provides a window for Rechecking. Applications must be submitted online within four days of the result declaration, with a fee of ₹1,000 per subject. Additionally, the board will conduct Improvement Examinations in July for those looking to boost their scores in a maximum of two subjects. It is important to note that the board discontinued compartment exams in 2024, replacing them with these more flexible improvement opportunities.
