June 30, 2026: Akasa Air has warned passengers that heavy rainfall in Mumbai may lead to delays across its network and advised travellers to check their flight status before heading to the airport. The airline said the weather-related disruptions were beyond its control but assured passengers that its teams were available to provide assistance during the situation.

SpiceJet also issued a weather advisory, stating that adverse conditions in Dharamshala could affect all arrivals, departures, and connecting flights. The airline requested passengers to monitor their flight status before travelling, as changing weather conditions may result in schedule disruptions.

Meanwhile, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast increased rainfall activity across Himachal Pradesh as the southwest monsoon advances further. Light to moderate rain, thunderstorms, and snowfall in higher reaches are expected through June 30, with heavy rainfall likely at isolated places later in the week. The IMD has also predicted light to moderate rainfall in Mumbai, Thane, and Raigad, while parts of Madhya Maharashtra may witness heavy rainfall between June 25 and 27 and again on June 30.
