BJP president Nitin Nabin will begin a two-day visit to Jammu and Kashmir to review organisational work, meet party leaders and interact with youth workers.

July 6, 2026: BJP president Nitin Nabin will begin a two-day organisational visit to Jammu and Kashmir on Monday to review the party’s activities and strengthen its grassroots network in the Union Territory. During the visit, he will meet senior leaders, office-bearers and public representatives while participating in programmes marking the 125th birth anniversary of Bharatiya Jana Sangh founder Dr Syama Prasad Mookerjee. The BJP said the tour is aimed at reinforcing the party’s organisational structure across the region.

On the first day of his visit, Nabin will address a commemorative event in Jammu dedicated to Dr Syama Prasad Mookerjee. He will later chair meetings with BJP state office-bearers, Morcha presidents, district presidents and district general secretaries at the party’s state office in Trikuta Nagar to review organisational activities and provide guidance. In the evening, he is also scheduled to hold a high-level meeting with the BJP’s core group in Jammu and Kashmir.

On Tuesday, the BJP president will preside over strategic meetings with MPs, MLAs and senior party functionaries before interacting with former legislators, District Development Council (DDC) members and Block Development Council (BDC) chairpersons. He will also lead a ‘Yuva Samvaad’ programme, engaging with young party workers and youth leaders. The visit will conclude with another organisational meeting at Keshav Bhavan in Jammu.
