Rahul Gandhi has urged students and job aspirants to participate in the “Students’ Echo” protest in Kota

June 15, 2026: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Monday called upon students and job aspirants to join the “Students’ Echo” (Chhatron Ki Goonj) protest scheduled to be held in Kota on June 17. He alleged that repeated exam paper leaks, cancelled tests and delays in government recruitment have betrayed the aspirations of India’s youth and created uncertainty for millions of candidates.

In a post on social media, Gandhi said young people are being “punished for daring to dream” and argued that hard work no longer guarantees success in the current system. He described every paper leak, cancelled examination and stalled recruitment process as a systemic failure that damages the future of students and job seekers. He urged the youth to unite and raise their voices against these issues, saying the government has failed to listen to their concerns.

The protest will take place at Shri Ram Rangmanch, Dussehra Maidan in Kota and marks the beginning of the Congress campaign titled “Save Education, Save Your Future.” The nationwide outreach programme will continue in Allahabad on July 10, Patna on July 11 and Delhi on July 14. Through the campaign, the Congress aims to highlight issues related to education, recruitment delays and employment opportunities for young Indians.
