Telangana CM A Revanth Reddy directs expansion of Prajavani services to grassroots, ensuring faster resolution of public grievances.

April 26, 2026: A Revanth Reddy has directed officials to expand Prajavani services across Telangana to the grassroots level, aiming to improve grievance redressal for citizens. Launched on December 8, 2023, Prajavani—meaning “voice of the people”—is currently held twice a week at the Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Praja Bhavan in Hyderabad, where citizens can directly submit petitions to government officials.

During a review meeting, the Chief Minister instructed K Ramakrishna Rao and senior officials to extend the programme to revenue divisions and later to the mandal level. The move is intended to reduce the need for people to travel long distances to district headquarters or the state capital. He also emphasised the need for a structured administrative mechanism to ensure that officials at every level are available to address complaints promptly.

Reddy further called for the development of a unified digital platform to register, track, and resolve grievances, along with a real-time monitoring system at district and state levels. He directed the appointment of nodal officers, creation of specialised Prajavani wings, and implementation of an auto-escalation system to address pending complaints efficiently. Stressing accountability, the CM warned against delays and urged regular review meetings to ensure timely resolution and build public trust.
