Samarth Singh, husband of model and actress Twisha Sharma, has reached Jabalpur amid the ongoing investigation into her death
May 22, 2026: In a fresh development in the Twisha Sharma death case, her husband Samarth Singh has reached a court in Jabalpur with plans to surrender amid the ongoing investigation. Samarth Singh had reportedly been absconding following the case gaining public attention and legal scrutiny.
Speaking to the media, Samarth Singh’s lawyer Jaideep Kaurav said his client had expressed his intention to surrender but had not clarified whether he would do so directly before the court or before the police authorities. The lawyer also stated that Samarth had not disclosed any specific reason behind his decision to surrender at this stage.
The case has remained under intense focus after Twisha Sharma was found dead at her marital home in Bhopal earlier this month. Investigators are continuing to examine multiple aspects of the case, while recent court proceedings have already allowed a re-postmortem to be conducted for further forensic clarity.
