Royal Challengers Bengaluru produced a dominant batting display against Chennai Super Kings, registering a new record for the most sixes hit against CSK in a single Indian Premier League match.

New Benchmark Against CSK

With 19 sixes in the innings, RCB set a new record for the most sixes hit against Chennai Super Kings in an IPL match.

The previous benchmark was jointly held by:

  • Kolkata Knight Riders (17 sixes, 2018 in Chennai)
  • Rajasthan Royals (17 sixes, 2020 in Sharjah)

The total also marked the first instance of RCB scoring 250 runs against CSK in IPL history.
