Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw announced that the proposed Khatu Shyam railway station in Rajasthan will be completed within the next 12 months. Speaking at a function after flagging off the Jaipur-Darbhanga Amrit Bharat Express from Khatipura station, Vaishnaw said land for the project has already been identified.
The Centre has clarified that the newly approved SARTHAK-PDS platform is not intended to replace India’s existing Public Distribution System (PDS), but rather to modernise and strengthen it through technology-driven reforms.
