The second solar eclipse of 2026 will occur on August 12 and will be an annular eclipse, popularly called the ‘Ring of Fire’. While the celestial event will be visible in parts of Europe, Canada, Greenland, and Russia, it will not be visible in India, making Sutak timings inapplicable for Indian observers.
