The Centre has transferred CBSE Chairman Rahul Singh and Secretary Himanshu Gupta and ordered a high-level inquiry into the controversial On-Screen Marking System (OSM) amid allegations of answer sheet mismatches, evaluation errors, cybersecurity concerns and irregularities in the tender process.
In a major step towards improving transparency and accountability in the examination process, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced that students will be able to access scanned copies of their evaluated Class 12 answer sheets through DigiLocker starting next year. The move is expected to help students better understand the marking process and reduce disputes related to examination results.
