The Kerala Cabinet has approved the rollout of the Indira Guarantee scheme for free bus travel for women, which will initially be implemented on KSRTC ordinary services from June 15. Chief Minister V D Satheesan announced that the scheme, named ‘Priyadarshini’, will benefit women of all ages and income groups, as well as transgender persons.
