The West Bengal Assembly on Monday passed two Bills by voice vote to abolish the existing Other Backward Classes (OBC) list used for reservations in state government jobs.
All Sikh MLAs, including ministers from Punjab's ruling Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and legislators from other political parties, appeared before the Akal Takht at the Golden Temple after being summoned over the state's anti-sacrilege law.
