Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convenor Arvind Kejriwal on Tuesday said he was unable to participate in the Cockroach Janata Party's (CJP) 'Sansad Chalo' march but revealed that both his children joined the protest for several hours. Speaking at a press conference, Kejriwal criticised the police action against student demonstrators and alleged that videos on social media showed protesters, including women, being beaten despite offering no resistance.
Thousands of protesters gathered at Delhi's Jantar Mantar on Monday despite heavy rain and extensive security arrangements as the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) proceeded with its proposed 'Sansad Chalo' march, demanding accountability over alleged examination irregularities.
