Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Wednesday said the Badrinath Temple theft is an extremely serious matter and assured that those responsible would face the strictest legal action. Speaking during the 'Jan-Jan ki Sarkar, Jan-Jan ke Dwar' programme in Gopeshwar, Chamoli, Dhami said the government would not allow the incident to be politicised and promised a fair and thorough investigation.
The Uttarakhand government has approved financial and administrative sanctions worth around ₹495 crore for a wide range of infrastructure, urban development and public welfare projects across the state.
