Police sources said the demonstration drew an exceptionally large crowd, prompting the deployment of Special Staff personnel in plain clothes to assist with security arrangements.
Dehradun Police have arrested four accused in connection with the murder of BJP functionary Vinod Kumar in Uttarakhand's Vikasnagar area. The accused, identified as Razzaq, Salman, Javed and Shahbaz, were taken into custody after a violent attack in Bairagiwala village left Kumar dead and three of his family members seriously injured.
