The All Indian Cine Workers Association (AICWA) has demanded an FIR against filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali and his production house Bhansali Productions following the death of a 42-year-old carpenter, Chandradhari Singh Yadav, on the set of the upcoming film Love & War in Mumbai. The association has also sought ₹1 crore compensation for the deceased worker’s family and called for a high-level investigation into alleged safety lapses on set.
A construction worker died in a tragic accident while helping set up the stage for an upcoming concert by global pop star Shakira in Brazil, event organisers confirmed.
