Actor-filmmaker Farhan Akhtar made his first public appearance in Mumbai amid the ongoing controversy surrounding Don 3 and actor Ranveer Singh. His appearance came shortly after the Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) reportedly issued an indefinite non-cooperation directive against Ranveer.
Farhan Akhtar Avoids Paparazzi
On Tuesday evening, Farhan Akhtar was spotted stepping out of his car in Mumbai. A viral video circulating on social media showed the filmmaker quickly entering the venue without stopping to interact with photographers or pose for pictures.
Dressed casually and maintaining a low profile, Farhan appeared to avoid media attention as discussions around the Don 3 controversy continue to dominate entertainment headlines.
Don 3 Controversy Explained
The controversy reportedly began after Farhan Akhtar’s production house, Excel Entertainment, accused Ranveer Singh of exiting Don 3 just days before filming was scheduled to begin.
Reports claimed the sudden exit allegedly caused significant financial losses during the pre-production phase of the film. Following the complaint, FWICE reportedly took action by issuing a non-cooperation directive against the actor.
So far, Farhan Akhtar has not publicly commented in detail on the issue.
Ranveer Singh Visits Chamundeshwari Temple
Interestingly, Ranveer Singh was also seen publicly on Tuesday morning after the controversy intensified. The actor appeared at Mumbai airport with his face partially covered by a mask while avoiding paparazzi interactions.
Ranveer later visited the famous Chamundeshwari Temple in Karnataka to offer prayers. Videos from the temple visit surfaced online, showing the actor participating in rituals and posing with temple priests.
Dressed in traditional attire, Ranveer appeared calm and composed during the spiritual visit.
Ranveer Continues To Enjoy Box Office Success
Despite the controversy, Ranveer Singh is currently enjoying commercial success with his Dhurandhar franchise directed by Aditya Dhar.
Fans are now waiting for an official statement from either Farhan Akhtar or Ranveer Singh regarding the future of Don 3 and the ongoing dispute.
