Madhuri Dixit Nene once again showcased her timeless love for traditional Indian fashion as she attended Anshula Kapoor’s wedding celebrations in an elegant rani pink sari by renowned designer Anita Dongre. The actor’s sophisticated ensemble beautifully blended classic craftsmanship with contemporary styling, making it a standout festive fashion moment.
The georgette sari featured an intricate all-over jaal pattern adorned with delicate buttis and cascading tassels along the pallu. Rich artisanal detailing elevated the look with traditional badla embroidery crafted using flattened gold wires, pearl embellishments, and a gota patti border highlighted by sequin-embroidered elephant and floral motifs.
Complementing the drape, Madhuri wore a matching sleeveless blouse featuring a structured collar and a straight-across neckline, giving the traditional ensemble a modern touch.
Celebrity stylist Sukriti Grover accessorised the look with polki chandelier earrings and bangles from Mumbai-based Sanzany Jewels, additional bangles by Prabhudayal Soni & Sons Jewellers, a statement pink gemstone ring from Jewels by Nupur & Shivani, and a Meera Mahadevia clutch.
For her beauty look, Madhuri opted for glowing skin, softly smoked eyes, dramatic lashes, pink lips, and a matching pink bindi. Hairstylist Sheetal Khan completed the look with a textured bun decorated with a fragrant gajra, adding a traditional finishing touch.
Madhuri has consistently championed Indian handloom and designer wear over the years. During the promotions of her 2026 film Maa Behen, she impressed fashion enthusiasts with a series of distinctive sari looks, including a pre-draped denim creation by Mayyur Girotra and a naturally dyed sari crafted from discarded temple flowers by Sew Much Better.
Her association with Anita Dongre has also remained strong. In previous years, the actor has worn the designer’s handwoven Banarasi silk saris and intricately embroidered lehengas, celebrating India’s rich textile heritage and artisanal craftsmanship through her fashion choices.
