June 7, 2026: A tragic accident claimed the life of a six-year-old girl in Delhi’s Holambi Khurd area on Saturday after an old brick pillar collapsed on her while she was playing on a makeshift swing. The incident occurred in Metro Vihar within the Narela Industrial Area. Police rushed to the spot after receiving information and found the child unconscious near a covered safety tank. She was immediately taken to a hospital, where doctors declared her brought dead.
During the investigation, police found that the girl had been using a rope swing tied to a deteriorated brick pillar, with the other end attached to a nearby metal grill.
