Cockroach Janta Party founder Abhijeet Dipke has warned of a nationwide agitation if Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan is not removed
June 7, 2026: A day after leading a protest at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar over alleged irregularities in the education system, Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) founder Abhijeet Dipke issued a seven-day ultimatum to the Central government. Dipke said the movement would intensify if Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan is not removed from office or does not step down within a week. Thanking participants for joining the demonstration, he described the protest as peaceful and said it reflected growing dissatisfaction with the education system.
Dipke claimed that many first-time protesters had joined the movement to voice concerns about examinations and education-related issues. He argued that an entire generation had been affected and called for accountability. Stressing that the protest was only the beginning, he announced plans to address supporters through an Instagram live session and outline the next phase of the campaign.
CJP spokesperson Ashish Ranka echoed the demand, saying the government has seven days to act. He stated that either Dharmendra Pradhan should resign or Prime Minister Narendra Modi should remove him from office. Warning that the agitation could spread across the country, Ranka said the push for reforms had begun from Jantar Mantar. Reacting to the protest, BJP national president Nitin Navin accused some individuals based abroad of attempting to influence India’s youth and said such efforts would not succeed.
