The BJP has announced a major organisational overhaul in Uttar Pradesh, appointing new office-bearers

June 25, 2026: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has unveiled a revamped organisational team for Uttar Pradesh, introducing a broad leadership structure aimed at strengthening the party’s state network. The new setup includes 19 vice presidents, 8 general secretaries, and 19 secretaries, reflecting a significant expansion of responsibilities within the state unit.

Among the prominent appointments, Neeraj Singh, son of Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, has been named a vice president. Former minister Suresh Rana has also been given a vice-presidential role. Other key leaders, including Archana Mishra and Pooja Pal, have been assigned important responsibilities in the new state team.

Party leaders said the restructuring is designed to strengthen grassroots coordination, improve communication between district and state-level units, and prepare the organisation for upcoming political and electoral challenges. The BJP believes the expanded leadership team will help improve outreach, mobilisation efforts, and implementation of party strategies across different regions of Uttar Pradesh.
