Union Minister Jitendra Singh says the government is ready to meet protesting students at a venue of their choice to discuss the NEET row and other concerns.
July 23, 2026: The Centre on Thursday reiterated its willingness to hold talks with the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP), which has been staging protests at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar over the alleged NEET paper leak and demanding the resignation of the Union Education Minister.
Union Minister Jitendra Singh said the government remains open to dialogue and is prepared to meet the protesting students at any venue they consider convenient. “The government is always ready for dialogue. Our doors are open, and we are prepared to hold discussions whenever and wherever the students find it convenient,” he said.
Singh added that the Centre is willing to discuss not only the ongoing protest but also other issues affecting students, emphasising that constructive dialogue is the best way to resolve the situation.
