July 13, 2026: A court in Patna on Monday granted anticipatory bail to educator Faisal Khan, popularly known as Khan Sir, in connection with a firing case. The relief was also extended to three staff members of his coaching institute, according to his lawyer.
The anticipatory bail order protects Khan Sir and the three employees from arrest while the investigation into the case continues. The matter pertains to a firing incident in which they had been named.
Khan Sir, one of Bihar’s most well-known educators, has not publicly commented on the court’s decision. Further legal proceedings in the case are expected as the investigation progresses.
