Security agencies across Bihar were placed on high alert on Tuesday after threatening emails claimed that the Bihar Chief Minister's residence, the Secretariat, and four schools in Patna would be targeted in bomb blasts. The email, sent to the Rural Development Department and Bihar Bhavan, warned of explosions at the Secretariat during the afternoon and later at the Chief Minister's office and official residence.
A court in Patna on Monday granted anticipatory bail to educator Faisal Khan, popularly known as Khan Sir, in connection with a firing case. The relief was also extended to three staff members of his coaching institute, according to his lawyer.
