A major construction accident occurred in Kolkata's Taratala area after the roof of an under-construction warehouse collapsed on Transport Road, trapping multiple workers beneath the rubble. Authorities believe that around 50 to 60 labourers may have been present at the site when the structure suddenly gave way during routine construction work.
At least five people lost their lives and several others were injured after a portion of an under-construction assembly hall at a Hanuman temple collapsed in Maharashtra's Parbhani district on Saturday.
