The Special Investigation Team (SIT) probing the alleged Badrinath Temple donation theft has found that the arrested accused, Pramod Nautiyal, was allegedly caught on CCTV stealing cash during donation counting on at least four occasions.
Amid the ongoing investigation into the alleged misappropriation of donations at the Ram Janmabhoomi Temple in Ayodhya, Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust Treasurer Swami Govinddev Giri Maharaj has said the suspected embezzlement is estimated to be around ₹3 crore, rejecting reports that valuables worth ₹14 crore were stolen.
