Karnataka Chief Minister D K Shivakumar on Tuesday reviewed the drought-like situation in several parts of the state and said the government is closely monitoring conditions. Speaking during his visit to Kalaburagi, he said a legal framework exists for declaring drought-affected areas and addressing the challenges faced by affected communities.
