Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s upcoming visit to Indonesia is being viewed as a key opportunity to deepen one of the Indo-Pacific’s most strategically important partnerships. As two of the region’s largest democracies, major maritime powers, G20 members and leading voices of the Global South, India and Indonesia share strong historical and strategic ties.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Paris on Wednesday after concluding his engagements at the G7 Summit in Evian-Les-Bains. He received a warm welcome from members of the Indian diaspora and expressed pride in their efforts to strengthen ties between India and France.
