The Defence Acquisition Council (DAC), chaired by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, has approved defence procurement proposals worth ₹52,000 crore to enhance the operational capabilities of the Indian Armed Forces.

During the visit, India will hand over a fast patrol vessel to the Seychelles Coast Guard, reinforcing bilateral cooperation in maritime security.
