India has reiterated its commitment to combating terrorism and transnational organised crime following the recent US federal indictment of jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, who has been accused of orchestrating several criminal activities, including the killing of Khalistan separatist Hardeep Singh Nijjar in Canada.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Auckland, New Zealand, on Friday as part of the final leg of his three-nation tour. He was warmly received at the airport by New Zealand Prime Minister Christopher Luxon, marking the first visit by an Indian Prime Minister to the country in four decades.
