Australia put together a 13-player team for a Test series against the West Indies that starts on January 17. The Baggy Greens were led by Steve Smith, who was named captain of their 13-person team.

Bailey also said that Renshaw (Brisbane Heat) and Boland (Melbourne Stars) will play for their Big Bash League teams before they join the team for the first Test.
