The National Green Tribunal (NGT) has ordered an independent inquiry into alleged irregularities in granting mining permissions near the Sariska Tiger Reserve in Rajasthan's Alwar district.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate India's first greenfield integrated refinery-cum-petrochemical complex at Pachpadra in Rajasthan's Balotra district on Saturday. Developed by HPCL Rajasthan Refinery Limited (HRRL) at an investment of ₹79,459 crore, the project is a joint venture between HPCL and the Rajasthan government.
