Where to Stay in Central London: A Tourist's Hotel Guide

London is a vacationer’s paradise and the best of hotels are strewn over the city. Hotels with similar amenities usually have similar costs but the important thing to keep in mind is location of the hotel.

We strongly recommend taking a hotel in and about Central London comprising of the boroughs of Camden, Islington, Kensington and Chelsea, Lambeth, Southwark, Westminster and the City of London.

These areas are centrally located, have a great dining and theatre scene and are within easy walking distance of numerous big attractions, such as the National Gallery, Houses of Parliament, the London Eye & a lot more.

Most hotels in Central London will not offer big room sizes and will have minimal staff. You maybe assisted when required, but the luxury stay that we are accustomed to in India maybe a far cry. But the opulence and beauty of the city will more than make up for it.

London is divided into zones underground 9 & these areas cover between zone- 1&2.

These zones are well connected via the tube and you can choose to buy a full day travel pass or Oyster card and enjoy seamless travel to many tourists destinations with ease.

Some pointers:

• Same holds for snacks, sandwiches, salads etc.
• Know the departmental stores in and around your hotels, it will be req. to purchase water, fruits & other daily stuff.
