Ranveer Singh’s massive spy-actioner, Dhurandhar 2, is finally nearing the conclusion of its historic theatrical run as it enters its 54th day. Directed by the visionary Aditya Dhar, the sequel has exceeded all expectations, cementing itself as one of the highest-grossing Indian films of all time.

Despite a natural dip in daily collections after nearly eight weeks in cinemas, the film showed remarkable resilience on its 8th Sunday (Day 53), jumping 22.2% from Saturday to collect ₹1.10 crore, proving that the audience’s appetite for this franchise remains strong.

As of Monday morning (Day 54), the film continues to run across 75 select shows, pushing its total India Gross collection to a staggering ₹1,368.12 crore. On the domestic front, the net earnings have reached ₹1,143.10 crore. The film’s journey has been a masterclass in box office endurance, starting with a gargantuan ₹674.17 crore in its first week and maintaining a steady grip even in its seventh and eighth weeks, despite new releases.

Worldwide Dominance and the “Dhurandhar 3” Tease

Globally, the film has achieved legendary status, with its worldwide gross collection soaring to ₹1,794.65 crore. This includes a robust overseas contribution of ₹426.55 crore, underscoring Ranveer Singh’s immense international appeal as a premier action star. With an OTT release on the horizon, industry trackers believe the film will comfortably cross the ₹1,800 crore mark globally before transitioning to streaming platforms.

While details remain under wraps, the industry is abuzz with rumors that Dhurandhar 3 might already be in the early stages of production, potentially expanding this blockbuster spy universe even further.
