Rock music fans in India have a reason to celebrate as legendary American rock band Foo Fighters is finally set to perform in the country for the first time in its 31-year history.

The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame-inducted and 15-time Grammy Award-winning band will make its much-awaited India debut with a two-city tour in January 2027, bringing one of the world’s most iconic live acts to Indian audiences.

Bengaluru And Mumbai To Host Historic Shows

The India tour will kick off at Bengaluru LIVE on January 29, 2027, before heading to Mahalaxmi Racecourse in Mumbai on January 31, 2027.

Known for timeless rock anthems such as Everlong, My Hero, Learn to Fly, Best of You and The Pretender, the band is expected to deliver a career-spanning setlist for Indian fans.

Dave Grohl’s Message To Indian Fans

Frontman Dave Grohl expressed his excitement about finally performing in India.

He said that after more than three decades as a band, Foo Fighters are thrilled to finally play for their Indian fans and promised that the wait would be worth it. Grohl added that audiences in Bengaluru and Mumbai should be prepared for “very long and very loud nights.”

More Than Just A Concert

The India tour is being planned as a full-scale rock festival experience rather than a standalone concert.

The Bengaluru lineup will feature performances by Pinkshift, Alain Johannes, Die Spitz and The Pretty Reckless.

Mumbai concert-goers will also enjoy performances by Mali, Still In Therapy, Die Spitz and The Pretty Reckless before Foo Fighters take the stage.
