Isha Ambani turned heads in a dazzling gold ensemble as she attended Manish Malhotra’s landmark debut at Paris Haute Couture Week, where the celebrated Indian designer unveiled his Fall/Winter 2026-27 collection titled ‘Maa’. The showcase marked Malhotra’s first appearance on the official Paris Haute Couture calendar, alongside renowned fashion houses such as Chanel, Dior, Balenciaga, and Schiaparelli.
A long-time supporter of the designer, Isha Ambani arrived in a shimmering gold sequined gown featuring a high halter neckline and criss-cross bodice. She completed the elegant look with champagne-toned strappy heels and minimal jewellery, allowing the intricately embellished outfit to take centre stage. Seated in the front row, she was seen interacting with fashion icons including Anna Wintour and actress Fan Bingbing.
The collection celebrated Indian craftsmanship, showcasing Manish Malhotra’s signature aesthetic with intricate zardozi embroidery, luxurious fabrics, and detailed handwork created using traditional couture techniques.
Titled ‘Maa’, the collection served as an emotional tribute to the designer’s late mother, Garima Malhotra, who passed away earlier this year. Ahead of the presentation, Malhotra shared a heartfelt message on social media, recalling how his mother’s unwavering faith and encouragement inspired his unconventional journey into fashion. He reflected on how her belief in him became the foundation of his success and credited her love as the driving force behind his dreams.
Filmmaker Karan Johar also attended the milestone event, showing his support for the designer in a sophisticated all-black outfit featuring a crystal-embellished cape jacket.
