Speaking about physical abuse in relationships on “Temptation Island,” Mouni Roy labels it as “wrong.”

On a recent episode of the American dating reality series “Temptation Island,” actor Mouni Roy, currently starring in an Indian adaptation of the show, stated that hit was aving a conversation with your partner is preferable to having a physical altercation. It was made known at the show’s beginning that one of the contestants, Cheshta Bhagat, had slapped her boyfriend, Arjun Aneja, after realising he was seeing someone else. Cheshta’s friend Nikhil Mehta revealed in previous episodes that Cheshta had also been subjected to physical aggression on Arjun’s part. The show’s love expert Mouni Roy, known as the “Queen of Hearts,” discussed the circumstance and shared her opinions.

“Galtiyaan sab se hoti hai,” she uttered. Everyone agrees, but uthana galat hai haath! What is wrong is wrong, regardless of gender! We recognise that there is always a reaction to any action, but frequently, your reactions outweigh the action! You would have been in the right if you had communicated your feelings to your partner without engaging in physical altercation! The instant you use violence, you might not stand right afterwards! You are defined and revealed by the things you do.”

Speaking of the difficulties encountered on the island, Mouni continued, “It is tough, I’m pretty sure, to express your concerns about your 12-year relationship on this island! Probably the most difficult circumstance a person can encounter is this one. Daira chala jata hai respect ka to relationship nahi tikta! (The relationship won’t last if the circle of respect is broken!) Given the subject’s sensitivity, we ought to handle it tactfully.” You can watch “Temptation Island India” on JioCinema.
