CBSE Class 10 Second Board Exam Result 2026 Declared; Check DigiLocker Link, Pass Percentage And Download Steps

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has declared the Class 10 Second Board Examination Result 2026 on July 18, 2026. Students who appeared for the exam can now check their results through the DigiLocker Results Portal at results.digilocker.gov.in.

The Second Board Examination was conducted from May 15 to May 21, 2026.

CBSE Class 10 Second Board Exam 2026: Pass Percentage

According to CBSE, 6,64,027 students registered for the second board examination this year.

Out of them, 6,63,777 students appeared for the exam.

The board said that 3,08,095 candidates improved their performance compared to the Main Board Examination. As a result, the overall pass percentage for students seeking improvement stood at 59.95%.

Meanwhile, 1,49,822 students appeared under the Compartment Category. Out of these, 78,503 candidates passed, taking the compartment pass percentage to 52.40%.

After combining the results of the Main Examination and the Second Board Examination, the overall Class 10 pass percentage for 2026 reached 96.78%.

How to Check CBSE Class 10 Second Board Result 2026

Students can download their results by following these steps:

  1. Visit the DigiLocker Results Portal at results.digilocker.gov.in.
  2. Click on the CBSE Class X result link on the homepage.
  3. Enter your roll number and date of birth.
  4. Click on the Submit button.
  5. Your result will appear on the screen.
  6. Download the provisional marksheet and keep a printed copy for future use.

What Happens After the Result?

CBSE has informed that school-wise results will also be shared with schools through their registered email addresses.

Schools can access students’ digital academic documents from the CBSE repository using the credentials already provided by the board.

For regular students, the printed Mark Sheet-cum-Passing Certificate, including those studying abroad, will be distributed through their respective schools.

Private candidates will receive their digital academic documents through DigiLocker. Their printed certificates will be sent to their registered addresses.

However, private candidates under the Delhi East and Delhi West Regional Offices can collect their printed documents from the examination centres where they appeared for the exam.

CBSE Class 10 Main Exam 2026 Results

Earlier this year, the CBSE Class 10 Main Board Examination recorded an overall pass percentage of 93.70%.

The examination was conducted across 83 subjects at 8,075 examination centres.

A total of 24,717,777 students registered for the examination, while 23,160,008 students successfully passed.

Among all regions, Trivandrum emerged as the top-performing district with an impressive 99.79% pass percentage.

The declaration of the Second Board Examination results gives students another opportunity to improve their scores and strengthen their academic records for future admissions.
