Following a protest at Jantar Mantar, CJP founder Abhijeet Dipke has warned of a nationwide agitation

June 7, 2026: A day after leading a protest at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar over alleged irregularities in the education system, Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) founder Abhijeet Dipke claimed the demonstration had delivered a strong message to the government. Thanking supporters for participating in what he described as a peaceful and historic gathering, Dipke said many first-time protesters joined the movement to express frustration with the current state of education. He also warned that the agitation would intensify if Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan is not removed or does not resign within the next seven days.

Dipke stated that the protest marks only the beginning of a larger movement. According to him, the campaign initially gained momentum on social media, where supporters have been demanding accountability in the education sector for over a month. He alleged that attempts had been made to suppress the movement through account restrictions and content removals but maintained that such measures would not silence public voices. The group has now threatened to expand its protests across the country if its demands remain unaddressed.

The Cockroach Janta Party emerged from an online campaign following public outrage over remarks attributed to Chief Justice Surya Kant and has since built a large social media following. Speaking at Jantar Mantar after arriving from the United States, Dipke said citizens should not be afraid to raise political concerns. Emphasising that the struggle would be long-term, he called on supporters to remain united and continue pressing for change, while signalling further announcements regarding the movement in the coming days.
